Mandela; Megrahi

Had a discussion about the new South Africa last night. Now what if Nelson Mandela had said he wanted justice for everyone whose life was shattered by apartheid? All the whites involved to rot in prison for the rest of their lives?

The result would have been total civil war for years. Mandela believed in forgiveness - good for him, and for the world at large.

A lesson here for those who wanted Megrahi to end his days in jail.

Even dafter

My first blog has re-appeared! So I didn't have to write my third. That's life, or my life - a lot of time spent looking for things under my nose or trying to sort out things on my new computer.

Just daft!

I lost my first blog posted in September. It was an introduction that said I was using blogs just to put down my thoughts about various things. Mostly things that I love (possibly excluding family), things that make me mad, politics Scottish, British, European and world-wide.

Also books I'm reading, and so on. This is very much off the top of my head, but I hope to return to it soon.

One question: how come that this has been autosaved at 20.53, but once published the time of publishing changes?

Second Post

I forgot how to post blogs!! And I've been very busy. So this is a new start and I hope to add new posts really frequently.

Have been very mad at all the lies - on TV, in the press and spouted by politicians and journalists.

So this is my second intro - let's hope I can get back on fast.
